Ela afeta principalmente a população afrodescendente e, apesar de ser a doença hereditária mais comum no Brasil, é desconhecida pela população e por muitos profissionais da saúde. O curta traz um conjunto de relatos de quem experiencia a doença, a dor, o racismo, mas também o viver.

Se le denomina células falciformes al conjunto de enfermedades causadas por alteración genética en las células sanguíneas. Esta afección principalmente la padece la población con ascendencia africana y es la enfermedad hereditaria más común en Brasil, así mismo es desconocida por la mayoría de los habitantes y por varios profesionales de la salud. El cortometraje enseñará relatos de quienes experimentan la enfermedad, su dolor, el racismo y el cómo es vivir para estas personas.
